Quick Update

Thank you all for praying for us during this time. We wanted to make sure you all had a quick update of how things are going.

Thankfully, our doctor was able to stop the preterm labor at the moment and we have lasted another 2 1/2 weeks. This has been a complete blessing because it allowed our sweet little one's lungs to develop and for him to gain a little more weight. On Saturday, Rachael will come off the medication that is fighting against her contractions and we are all expecting the baby to come sometime next week. The reason the doctor suspects this is because the meds and Rachael lying around all day has probably been the only thing keeping the baby from coming but now that he will let Rachael do little more and there will be no meds in her body, he suspects that labor will continue. There has been a little progression in her labor but thankfully it has stayed out of the active stage at this point.

Peanut will be 35 weeks old on Saturday so she'll still be little but please pray with us that everything will be fully developed and that he'll be able to come home from the hospital with us rather than staying in the NICU.

We praise the Lord for His love and grace during this time. We are getting excited to see if Peanut is a boy or a girl and meeting this little person who was fashioned so lovingly by our wonderful Creator.
